Welcome to your new travelling companion, meet Betty. We’ve travelled in campers around New Zealand and Europe, and we’ve learned a lot about what works well -and what doesn’t- so we’ve kitted out this motorhome to make using her as easy, comfortable, and fun as possible — whether you’re heading off for a weekend escape or a full-on adventure. Since we’ve been hiring Betty out through Camplify, she’s complete with everything you need to start your own Camplify listing, or if you’re buying for yourself. As Betty is currently a hire vehicle, she has been serviced regularly, and is currently on a COF. You can change her back to a WOF if you do not want to continue hiring her out. She’s super easy to drive with an automatic gearbox, and the reversing camera takes the stress out of parking. We’ve also set her up with a stereo in the cab that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can plug in your phone and use your own music and maps. We’ve recently upgraded to a new smart TV, which can be used for Netflix and other streaming services, as well as live TV on TVNZ and Threenow. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials, bathroom with shower and toilet, there’s an outdoor camping stove, six chairs, and a table — perfect for dinner under the awning or breakfast with a view. She sleeps up to six people in three beds, so it’s perfect for families, or a couple who like more room. Just note that if you’re freedom camping, the legal limit is five people due to toilet capacity — but you’re totally fine with six at campgrounds.
