VW Crafter 2014 - Custom Camper Conversion

This custom van conversion has been a 5 year journey, originally brought back during the covid period as a hobby to kill time during lockdowns. The main reason for parting ways is we need to find some more spacious for the kids. As a couple this vans functional set up was a road trip dream, its time to upgrade to something a little larger, will be sad to see her go. 

The van has been fitted out with the following items, 
Solar – 2 x 200w solar panels, 100Ah Lithium Ion Battery 

Electrical – LED downlights split over 3 zones, level monitors for water and power, central control box. Installed by qualified electrical engineer. 

Plumbing – 120L water tank, 126L grey water tank both TT plastics, Thetford C402 Cassette Toilet, challenger califont, dual shower head, swivel kitchen tap, 7l/s shurflo water pump, external 3L gas bottle hatch, dual gas hob and Vitrifrigo 87L 12 V Fridge/Freezer. All fitted by an approved plumber and gas fitter.

Fit out – internal cladding 12mm Cedar, cabinetry was installed by a joinery company, its couch by day double bed by night, the bed comes with a custom mattress, rhino roof racks with external ladder, treated pine roof deck.

Overall the van runs very well being a 6 speed diesel manual. Low Kms we have owned for 5 years and done one decent road trip per year. About 15k kms, serviced at VW garage. The length of the van being 5.5m allows for parking in standard car park very underrated as can easily head into CDBs, super market etc. Warrant and rego are out to late 2026.
